📍Where do we meet?

Meet outside the Nature Discovery Centre

🎫Who needs a ticket?

This event is suitable for children aged 3 years and over, supervised by an adult at all times. Children 3 years and over will need a ticket. 

🌳Will the activities take place outside?

Yes, we will be outside for the whole session, so please do come dressed for the weather.  Children are welcome to dress up, but costumes are often highly flammable and will need to be removed before the fire.  

🔥Will there be a campfire?

Weather permitting, there will be a campfire. 

🌍Where are you based?

We are located just off the A127 near Basildon.

🚗Is there parking?    

Yes. We have a large free car park.

🚇Can we get to you on public transport?

Yes.  We are just under 2 miles walk from Laindon Station and under 1 mile walk from the nearest bus stop.

🥾What should we wear?

Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised.

🚻Are there toilets?

Yes. Our Langdon Nature Discovery Centre has toilets (including an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities)

☕Is there a café?

Yes. Our Langdon Nature Discovery Centre has toilets, shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and light lunches.

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog?

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.

♿Will the event be accessible?

Some areas of the reserve are accessible in a wheelchair. Please have a chat with us to discuss your needs.
