About the event

A spooktacular time in the woods awaits for budding witches and wizards!  Come along to experience autumn in the forest, have a go at some creepy nature crafts and gather around the fire (weather permitting)

🎫 Who can attend?

Suitable for children aged 4 - 11 and must be accompanied by an adult. 

📍Where do we meet?

Please meet at the Nature Discovery Centre where toilets and cafe are available.

🌳Will the activities take place outside? 

 We will be outside for the whole session so please come dressed for the weather.  Children are welcome to dress up but costumes are often highly flammable so will need to be removed before the campfire.  

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located in Hornchurch, Essex.

🚗Is there parking?    

Yes, there is a free car park which is managed by Havering Council.

🚅 Can we get to you on public transport?

Hornchurch station (District Line) is a 20minute walk or a short (252) bus ride away. The 252 bus stops just outside the park entrance .

🚻Are there toilets?   

Yes, we have toilets inside the vistior centre. 

☕Is there a Cafe or shop? 

The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches. 

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
