About the event

Join us for a relaxing and creative workshop celebrating a traditional countryside craft. Using natural wheat straw, you’ll learn how to create your very own corn dolly to take home.

Our friendly workshop will guide you through the process step by step, from preparing and shaping the straw to weaving and tying your finished design. No previous experience is needed — just bring your creativity!

You’ll discover a little more about the history and traditions behind corn dollies, while enjoying a hands-on crafting experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the Essex countryside.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own unique corn dolly — a beautiful handmade keepsake inspired by the harvest and the wildlife and landscapes around us.

Price includes 2 corn dolly’s to take home, decorated with your chosen charm.
