We run events for children, families, and adults throughout the year. Each event will list age recommendations and suitability to help you choose the right activity. 

What should I wear for outdoor events?

Most events are held outdoors, so we recommend dressing weather appropriate with sturdy footwear. Waterproof clothing and wellington boots are recommended with conditions are wet.

Is parking available?

Yes, parking is available in the nearby Havering Borough Council car park approximately 100 metres from the Nature Discovery Centre. This is also a designated coach drop-off point for group visits. If you  are planning a group visit, please book your visit in advance.

Are there toilets and refreshments on site?

Yes, Ingrebourne Valley Nature Discovery Centre has accessible toilet facilities located within our on-site cafe. The cafe offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, packaged snacks, ice-cream, along with a range of other refreshments, making it the perfect place to take a break during your visit.
