Becky Stone, Digital Communications Officer for Essex Wildlife Trust, said:

"We have been blown-away by the standard of this year's competition entries. With hundreds of photos reflecting the beauty of wildlife found in Essex, it was a challenge choosing our six favourites. From a spider found in a garden, a sanderling amongst the waves and a rabbit running through open fields, the winning images portray a true reflection of the diverse wildlife we have in Essex. We are looking forward to seeing which photo the public chooses as their overall favourite."
