Join us this Easter school holiday for a fun and hands-on session, where we'll dip in the pond and learn about the amazing creatures that live beneath the surface and call the pond home. All equipment is provided, which makes this a great Easter holiday activity for children. Suitable for 3 years and over.

FAQs

🎫 Who requires a ticket?

All children aged 3 years+ will require a ticket to attend.  Adults and siblings under 3 do not require a ticket.

📍Where do we meet? 

Meet in the Community Garden, which is just opposite the car park entrance.

🥾What should we wear? 

Most of our events are fully outdoors, and you need to come dressed for the weather.  We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky.  Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them. 

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located just off the A127 near Basildon.

🚗Is there parking? 

Yes. We have a large free car park.

🚇Can we get to you on public transport? 

Yes.  We are just under 2 miles walk from Laindon Station and under 1 mile walk from the nearest bus stop.

🚻Are there toilets and a shop?

Yes. Our Langdon Nature Discovery Centre has toilets, a shop and a café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and light lunches.

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
