🥾What should we wear?
This will be fully outdoors, so you need to come dressed for the weather. We recommend layers (top and bottom), which can get mucky. Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them. Any equipment required for the activities will be provided.

♿How accessible is the site?
There is accessible parking next to the entrance to the Discovery Centre, and there is an all-terrain mobility scooter that can be borrowed if necessary. The reserve has gravel, woodland, and sandy paths with benches at numerous locations. There are some areas where the paths are narrow or require step access. Manoeuvrability is impaired in wetter conditions. Adders are on the reserve, and they are the UK's only venomous snake. Please stick to the paths and wear suitable footwear. Please do not touch them, they are shy creatures and will only bite if they feel they are in danger.
Fingringhoe Wick Nature Discovery Park features a café, picnic area, and wildlife trails with views over the Colne Estuary, along with a wildlife gift shop, disabled access, baby-changing facilities, and a large free car park.
