About the event

This Christmas break, unleash the festive excitement as you complete our Christmas craft in the woods at Hanningfield. Then pop on your wellies and go exploring round the reserve as you complete our seasonal trail. Don't forget to collect your sticker at the end! A great event to let of steam during the excitement of the season.

🎫 Who needs a ticket to attend?

All children participating will require a ticket to attend. 

📍Where do we meet?

Meet on the mound behind the visitor centre.

🌳Will the activities take place outside? 

Yes,  we will be outside for the whole session.

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located in Mid-Essex, local to Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Billericay, Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, and Basildon.

🚗Is there parking?    

Yes. We have a large free car park. 

🥾What should we wear? 

Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised.

🚻Are there toilets? 

Toilets are located inside the visitor centre. 

☕Is there a café?

The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches. 

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
