Outdoor parent and child sessions

Want to get into nature but not sure where to start? Why not bring your little ones for our relaxed and friendly weekly wildlife adventures! Your child can explore the outdoors, look for creepy crawlies, get messy in the mud, hear the crunch of leaves, watch the trees sway in the wind, splash in puddles, get creative… or simply just explore.

Nature Tots is a weekly adult and toddler group where young children can explore, play and learn outdoors. Suitable for ages 3 months to 5 years. 

Great Holland Pits
Every Thursday at 10am. Afternoon sessions are also now available, please enquire for more details.

Wrabness
Every Tuesday at 10am.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (we are limited to one adult per child). We will be outside for the whole session. Please come suitably dressed for the weather or let us know if you would like to borrow waterproof clothing.  

Adult volunteer sessions

We are seeking adult volunteers to join us for five practical work parties at Wrabness nature reserve or Great Holland Pits nature reserve this winter! No experience needed and no age restrictions apply, suitable footwear, warm clothes and some enthusiasm is all that’s required.

Adult volunteer dates and locations

Work parties offer a fantastic opportunity to learn new practical skills, meet new people and make a difference for your local area! You could find yourself hedge laying, coppicing, clearing ponds, removing invasive species, laying paths, erecting fencing and much more. The sessions will be held from January to June 2022 at our Wrabness nature reserve and Great Holland Pits nature reserve.
