About the event

Get back to nature! Explore wildlife and learn bush craft skills at our school holiday Forest School drop-off days.

Make shelters, climb trees and use natural materials for crafts with social distancing. Our programme will help to build confidence, enhance self-esteem and develop social skills. Each group is led by an experienced Forest School leader.

We are offering drop-off days for children aged 5 and over in small, isolated groups to explore our fabulous park for wildlife.

A child consent form must be completed for each child attending.

Advance booking essential. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session. Please also bring a packed lunch. Meet outside the visitor centre on arrival.

Please help to protect our staff and other members by not attending any of these events if you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or have symptoms of Covid-19.

We are working within current COVID Government guidelines and will update our practices accordingly, in response to any changes in this advice.  All our activities are fully risk assessed and a copy of our COVID risk assessment is available on request. If, under these guidelines, it is necessary for us to cancel the event, we will contact you to reschedule or refund as appropriate.
