About the event

We are excited to offer you the chance to explore 3 different areas in Fingringhoe, including the reserve obviously!  We’ll meet at the Visitor Centre for a guided walk round the nature reserve in search of birds, butterflies & dragonflies. After lunch (not provided, but available from the centre) we'll then drive to Fingringhoe Gravel Pits in Furneaux Lane; and then on to Ballast Quay Road for another guided walk, before heading back to the reserve to finish at the Visitor Centre.

Dress for all weathers and wear shoes suitable for walking over uneven ground.
