About the event

This half-term break, join in for spooky spells by making sparks and gather pongy potion ingredients! Look out for weird and wonderful wildlife, then make your wand and cast your spell. A great family session for the autumn.

Recommended for ages 6+, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

🎫 Who needs a ticket to attend?

All children participating will require a ticket to attend. 

📍Where do we meet?

Meet on the mound behind the visitor centre.

🌳Will the activities take place outside? 

Yes,  we will be outside for the whole session.

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located in Mid-Essex, local to Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Billericay, Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, and Basildon.

🚗Is there parking?    

Yes. We have a large free car park. 

🥾What should we wear? 

Please dress for being outside - lots of layers. If it has been raining, the paths will be muddy and have lots of puddles, so wellies or boots are advised.

🚻Are there toilets? 

Toilets are located inside the visitor centre. 

☕Is there a café?

The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches. 

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
