About the event

This walk to the remote Stone Point peninsular will benefit anyone who has wanted to venture up there, but was concerned about becoming stranded or lost. We may be fortunate to discover some of the wintering birds that inhabit the marshes.

Sightings are unpredictable and cannot be guaranteed. The walk takes place over high tide so we may be cut off for a short while.

Please be aware that this walk may take up to three hours, is up to five miles in length and involves walking over soft sand, mud and salt marsh. Tide and beach conditions on the day will dictate the actual route and duration of this walk and it may not be possible or safe to get all the way to Stone Point on the day.

Please wear suitable footwear, weather appropriate clothing and bring some water. Most important of all, don't forget your binoculars!

£7 per person

Booking essential via email or telephone.

Facilities at The Naze include café, shop, toilets, disabled toilets, baby changing and car park (fees apply).
