About the event

This October half term, join us at Abbotts Hall as the sun sets, for an opportunity to explore and enjoy the woodland.

We'll take some time to slow down and connect with nature, get playful and creative with natural materials, and reflect on the changing of seasons as we move into winter.

We'll gather around the fire to summon energy to carry us through the darker months. Howling at the moon is encouraged but optional! All invitations, not expectations. 

This is an adult only event.

🧭 Where do we meet you?

Meet in the far car park at Abbott's Hall, near the yurt.

🌳Will the activities take place outside? 

We will be outside - please dress for the weather. You may wish to bring a torch too. 

🌍Where are you based? 

We are based in North Essex, local to Colchester.

☕Is there a Café or shop? 

There is not a café or a shop at Abbotts Hall, feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks. There are toilets available.

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events. 

♿Are there accessible pathways? 

The site is mixed terrain, with areas of grass, woodland, concrete and mud. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
