About the event

In relaxed outdoor settings we run a number of home education groups where children can be themselves and work together to develop social skills and to foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world.  Activities may include den building, woodland crafts, using tools and fire lighting. 

Sessions will be every Thursday from 6 June to 11 July (6 weeks).

Dates: 6, 13, 20, 27 June, 4, 11 July.

Suitable for children aged 12 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session.  

Meet on Crown Cottage Green, opposite the lower site car park. Toilets available in Crown Cottage and up at the Nature Discovery Centre.

We are trialing a 10% discount on all sibling tickets and have a limited number of places available for families in receipt of universal credit.  We may be able to offer free taster sessions and shorter blocks of sessions priced at £8 per week. Advance booking is essential. You only need to book a place for the child attending.  Accompanying adults do not require a place.
