About the event

We run our Over 8s Home Education Group in a relaxed outdoor setting where children can be themselves, work together to develop social skills and foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world.  Activities may include den building, woodland crafts, using tools, pond dipping, bird walks, fire lighting, campfire cooking and much more.

Sessions will be every Monday from 3 June to 8 July (6 weeks).

Dates: 3, 10, 17, 24 June, 1, 8 July.

Each week there will be a range of wildlife and bushcraft themed activities and games, as well as time for free play, giving the children the opportunity to track their progress and explore new ideas.

We encourage this group to be a drop-off, meaning you can leave your child/children with us until collection. However, if this does not suit either you or your child/children, adults are welcome too.

A child consent form must be completed for each child attending that is being dropped off.

Suitable for children aged 8 and over. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session, no matter what the weather!

Meeting instructions will be sent on booking. Toilets are available at Grange Farm Centre. Advance booking is essential. Please bring a packed lunch, avoiding nuts in case of allergies.
