About the event

In relaxed outdoor settings we run number of home education groups where children can be themselves and work together to develop social skills and to foster a deep understanding of wildlife and a love of the natural world.  Activities may include den building, woodland crafts, using tools and fire lighting. 

The sessions run one Friday of the month.

Suitable for school aged children. Meet in the Pound Wood Car Park, St Michael's Road, Thundersley SS7 2UW. Further instructions will be sent on booking. Please note there are no toilet facilities located at this site.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session.  

Advance booking essential. You only need to book a place for the child attending and not the accompanying adult.  

We are able to offer a limited number of free places for families in receipt of universal credit. Please contact our education officer directly if you are eligible and would like to claim a space.
